The International Peace Commission brings individuals, organizations and institutions into a global civil-society community supporting peace, humanitarian service, responsible leadership and sustainable development. Governments and public institutions engage through formal cooperation and partnership instruments.

There is more than one way to support the mission. Qualified individuals who wish to contribute through expertise, leadership, time and service may explore the limited volunteer opportunities available within the Global SDG Leadership Network – An Initiative of the International Peace Commission.
National governments, ministries, public agencies, municipalities, diplomatic missions, intergovernmental bodies and other public institutions engage with IPC through a formally negotiated Memorandum of Understanding, Framework Cooperation Agreement, Host-Country Agreement, treaty-based instrument, or another mutually accepted legal framework.
Membership applications are reviewed by IPC. Government and public-institution partnerships follow a separate formal consultation and agreement process.
